EXAMINATION:
ICM examination take place four times each year in march, June,
September, and December. results and certificates are issued
approximately 12 weeks from the receipt of the candidates answer
scripts.
Continuing Education:
Subject to Status and grades obtained students holding ICM professional
level Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Graduate Diploma awards are accepted
onto under graduate and post graduate degree programmes offered by
institutions in Europe, North America, South East Asia, Sub Saharan
Africa and Australia.
The Institute's awards are also recognized by the majority of the
world's leading professional examining boards for either subject
exemption or registration purposes.
General Information
ICM Student Membership:
In order to undertake and ICM professional level programme it will be
necessary for you to register with the institute as a Student Member and
to pay the appropriate Student Registration Fee.
Student Registration Application forms
may be obtained from either your local ICM teaching centre.
Student Registration Application forms
must be completed and forwarded to the institute within 8 weeks from the
date of commencement of your course of study or receipt of your
application form we will send you confirmation of your Student
Membership.
Membership is valid for a period of 1
year. If you do not complete your program within one year you can renew
your student membership for a further year on payment of an annual
subscription of 20 Pounds.
Approved ICM Teaching Centres
Tuition leading to the institute's examinations can only be provided by
institutions which have been granted ICM 'Approved Centre' status. There
are more then 2000 'Approved Centres' through out the world. However not
every teaching centre will necessarily offer tuition in all the listed
courses.
Home Study
The Institute regrets that is not able to accept student registration
applications or examination entries from home study students.
Examination Entry Forms
Examinations are held in March, June, September and December each year
and in order to enter any ICM professionals level examination you must
be a registered and paid up student member.
To enter for an examination it is
necessary to complete the appropriate examination entry form and forward
this to the institute together with the relevant examination entry fees.
Your completed examination entry form
and fees must reach the institute SIX weeks prior to the date of the
examination. Entries received after the six week closing date are
automatically carried forward to next examination series.
On receipt of your completed
examination entry form you will be send a confirmation of your entry
together with the details of your examination centre.
Results and Certificates
These are issued with in 12 weeks from receipt of examination scripts.
Subject Exemptions
If you have successfully completed examinations with another recognized
Examining of Professional Body you may be able to claim subject
exemptions from your course, on a subject-for-subject basis. Exemption
application forms can be obtained from the institute or from your
teaching centre.
Degree and Post Graduate Studies
The Institutes Professional Diploma And Graduate Diploma awards are
recognized for undergraduate and post graduate entry purposes by
numerous institutions of higher education through out the world. Your
ability to gain admissions on to an undergraduate course will depend on
your examination grades and the availability of the course places. Entry
on to post graduate courses will be subject to your examination grades,
age and relevant work experience.
Social and Economic Development
Working selectively with public and corporate sector clients, the
institute provides expert technical assistance and consultancy services
in the fields of trade, tourism and professional development.
With support from Advisory Board
members the institute also the tenders for regional, sub regional and
national consultancy assignments sponsored and supported by
organizations such as the European Union, The European Investment Bank,
The EBRD, The World Bank and the IFC, The Inter American Bank, ADB, UNDB,
and The World Tourism Organization.
The institute works either as an
individual consultancy, research, evaluation or project management unit,
or as consortium member meeting the criteria of being multi lingual,
multi national and multi disciplinary.
