The new IATA / UFTAA International Travel and Tourism Training Programme now has totally redesigned and updated course material and has the addition of two management focused diplomas, designed for travel industry managers, owners and senior travel consultants.

The new training programme is a career-oriented programme, which aims to respond to the rapidly changing needs within the Travel and Tourism industry.

There are now four career-development levels, as well as a computer based training course for Global Distribution Systems. These levels now provide you with real opportunities for further career development and growth.

Courses Offered:
Training / Theory / Practical / Coaching classes for the following Internationally recognized IATA / UFTAA awarded diploma / certificate courses under the distance education courses programmes of ADTI of IATA (H.O. Canada) will be held.the detailed course contents, subjects etc. is given in the subsequent pages.

Examination:
Examinations are conducted by IATA (Head Office in CANADA) in the months of March and September every year at major city of India under supervision of AIR INDIA (Local Coordinator of IATA) the exact dates will be notified accordingly.

Minimum Qualification: 10th / 10+2 / Graduation.

Course Language: English

Course Form: CD-ROM or INTERNET -based. This is a computer based training (CBT) programme that teaches basic and advanced fare construction principles, as well as GDS entries to price journeys and issue tickets. It is designed for travel consultants or airline personnel, whose main task is to sell international air transportation on behalf of IATA Member Airlines. Students have up to two years to complete the programme. You will learn through realistic GDS simulation by choosing from one of the following: Abacus, Apollo, Galileo or Sabre.

MODE OF PAYMENT
Training Fee: either full in lumpsum or pay Rs.14,000/- at the time of admission and balance in 2 equal monthly installments of Rs.2000/-.

Student Kit Fee and Shipping Fee: ($137+$27) to be paid before 30th May, same year if candidate is interested to take exam in September same year and before 25th November this year in case candidate is interested to appear in March next year exam.

Examination Fee: Examination Fee $37  to be paid by 30th June, this year for September same year exam and 31st December this year for March next year exam.

Diploma in Travel and Tourism Foundation (Coaching Only)

The foundation course is the first of the four levels. The 12 Modules of the foundation course will give the student an understanding of travel and tourism industry, the practicalities of the travel professional's role in this industry, the importance of exceeding customers' expectations, as well as role of technology in travel industry. The student will become familiar with related subject matters such as industry regulations, codes, world geography, air fares and ticketing, visa and health requirements and tour programmes.  By successful completing the examination, you will become qualified with the IATA / UFTAA Travel and Tourism Foundation Diploma, and will be able to use the letters DTTF (Diploma, Travel and Tourism Foundation) after your name.
